Bats and their Habitat: HABC and Friends
Half Acre Beer Co and Friends of the Chicago River come together to host an event at our Balmoral brewery.
A presentation will be lead by Maggie Jones who works with Friends of the Chicago River and will cover bats, an essential species in our ecosystem. We'll cover bats on a global and local level, the role they play, threats they face and what we can do to help.
We will also have a pop up shop selling Half Acre Build Co. Bat Houses! You can purchase one to continue the support of this important species at home.
Tickets include the presentation, a beer and a portion of the sales will be donated back to Friends of the Chicago River.
Beers will also be available for purchase a la carte
