"Conversations with Claywoman"
500 million year old Interstellar enigma Claywoman in conversation with  Special Guests, Emily Allan and Leah Victoria Hennessey.

Sunday December 1st, 2019 at 7PM..

Claywoman is a 500 million year old enigma from the Mirillion Galaxy.  She travels to Earth (one of her favorite planets) from time to time to check in on us and engage in dialogue.  One of her most famous talks was at Hunter College some years ago.  This visit, she arrives while our species is in a particularly dangerous predicament and so this could even be called an emergency visit.  She looks forward to chatting with some old friends and taking questions from the audience in attendance at Pangea.

Michael Cavadias is an actor, performer and writer.  Film and TV credits include Wonder Boys, All We Had, I Remember Nothing, Girls, and Difficult People.  Claywoman was originally created at Blackips Performance Cult in the 90s and nurtured at Mabou Mines by Ruth Maleczech.   More recently, Michael worked with Rob Roth on The Mystery of Claywoman which was presented at  The New Museum, The Wild Project, Town Hall, Abrons Art Center and Howl Festival.  Conversations with Claywoman was featured at The Meltdown Festival in London.

TWEED TheaterWorks (EST 1983),  Kevin Malony Artistic director,  has been partnering with Pangea for the past three years to present a stellar performance series on Sundays (and some others days!) that combines the best of the "old school' and the "up & coming" musical, performance, and theater artists that NYC has to offer.  www.tweedtheater.org

Downtown's intimate supper-club Pangea is the ultimate in alt, playing home to some of the best in alt cabaret. The New York Times recently called it "a bohemian oasis not unlike the fabled Max's Kansas City from days gone by."
