A Sojoyful Holiday Celebration!
Sojoy is back to play some of their favorite holiday classics, and a few wintery originals. Sojoy plays it's original take on nearly a dozen holiday favorites, a must hear during the holiday season.
The rich sounds of Sojoy originated in the head of composer, drummer, and pianist Jonny Peiffer, arranged for a horn section five-deep - some of the best players north of NYC. For this special show Peiffer will move over to the keys to allow special guest Eric von Oeyen to join the group on drums. Peiffer also shares the arranging duties of some of these holiday classics with the very talented Eric Klaxton and Zach Lange.
This horn section cannot be beat. With Matt Langley (WeirdTurnPro, OurBigBand, etc.), Eric Klaxton (Soggy Po Boys, OurBigBand, etc.), and Nick Mainella (Soggy Po Boys, OurBigBand, etc.) on reeds, Zach Lange (Soggy Po Boys) on trumpet, and Chris Gagne (WeirdTurnPro) on trombone, these gentlemen combine to create the best sound around. The group is rounded out with Scott Kiefner (Soggy Po Boys, etc.) on bass, Eric von Oeyen (OurBigBand) on drums, and the maestro Jonny Peiffer (Shango, etc.) on keys for the first time since the group's inception in 2014.
Don't miss this Sojoyful Holiday Celebration!
