If you are coming from I-10 (either west or east), the following directions will take you to Vermilionville: Exit 103A to Lafayette. You will then merge onto US-167 South toward US-90/Morgan City. Continue onto US-90 East/Evangeline Thruway.
After approximately four miles, you will come to an intersection at Surrey Street/University Avenue and US-90 East/Evangeline Thruway. Turn left onto Surrey Street. You will then travel approximately four-tenths of a mile before reaching the Fisher Road intersection. Turn left onto Fisher Road. There is a large sign which reads "Vermilionville" indicating parking. The museum is located at 300 Fisher Road.
If you are coming from University Avenue, travel south until you reach the intersection with US-90 East/Evangeline Thruway. The only option is to turn right, stay in the far left lane when turning right and continue onto US-90 East/Evangeline Thruway a short distance. Using the left lane, turn left at the signal across from the airport (in line with car dealership). You must wait for the light to turn green to make your left turn here. Once green, turn onto US-90 West/Evangeline Thruway and take the right lane off of the Thruway onto Surrey (the next light). Take a left at the next light to get onto Fisher Road.
