Peekskill High School Drama Co. Presents, "A Christmas Carol"
Stingy businessman Ebenezer Scrooge is known as the meanest miser in Victorian London. He overworks and underpays his humble clerk, Bob Cratchit, whose little son, Tiny Tim, is ill. One Christmas Eve, Scrooge finds himself visited by three ghosts. He is given one last chance to change his ways and save himself from a grim fate.
The Peekskill High School Drama Company is excited to present the Paul Sills adaptation of this classic play by Charles Dickens. Sills is known as the master of improvisation, the founder of The Second City theater troupe and is the creator of Story Theater. He has influenced some of theater's most important directors, writers and actors, including PHS Theater teacher, Mr. Terry Sandler, who studied under Sills at one time.
