Comedy on Elm Street with Ken Rogerson, Joe Yanetty, more
Tickets $15 in advance, $18 at the door for another great night of comedy at Elm Draught House Cinema, 35 Elm Street, Millbury.
Presented by Scamps Comedy, the lineup includes four killer acts, three of whom are appearing at the Elm for the first time: Ken "The Viper Rogerson," Joe Yannetty, Sarah Martin and Sal Votano.
Ken The Viper Rogerson, the funniest man you've never heard of, started his comedy career working the Chicago comedy club circuit, while stealing an education from Northwestern University. In Boston, he honed his stand-up act to a fine edge...Sharp enough to cut the head off a rabbit at 30 yards. He has appeared in Denis Learys Rescue Me, in Farrelly Brothers films, and was a writer for Fox TV's Sunday Comics, where he also performed. Other TV credits include Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, Showtime, Comedy Central, A&E and MTV.
Joe Yannetty is a world traveler, accomplished comedian, and cancer survivor who you may recognize from cruise ships, top Boston clubs, or his commercial for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He draws on his travels, his Italian heritage, family situations and Boston blue-collar upbringing in his comedy. A guest on dozens of television shows, hes also written movie scripts (including Suckers from HBO), and appeared at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Radio City Music Hall in New York City and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He was once the warmup act for Rosie ODonnells TV show and beat Drew Carey on Star Search.
Sarah Martin shares her sardonic perspective on life with some extra sass. Using her vitality and dry wit, Martin has been building a name for herself in the comedy world by being real... and a riot. She aspires to be the next character on 'Orange is the New Black', so if anyone has any contacts, let her know. She has been a part of numerous festivals throughout the country, has been on Sirius XMs Raw Dog Radio, and featured on Twitch TV.
Builder, businessman and comedian Sal Votano has established himself as a top Boston comedy talent, regularly performing with top comedians like Steve Sweeney and Lenny Clarke. Early in his career, he established himself as an up-and-comer with strong showings in the 2009 Giggles Comedy Riots competition and the 2010 Plymouth Comedy Festival. His one-liners about growing up in Lynn, marriage, being a builder and owning a liquor store are hysterical.
