Peace on Earth A 1942 Christmas Radio Salute to the Troops
Capital City Theatre is proud to introduce a new holiday tradition to the Greater Madison Community - Peace on Earth A 1942 Christmas Radio Salute to the Troops. Take a step back in time to Christmas Eve in 1942 and participate in a Radio Salute to the American GIs fighting in the Guadalcanal on the Solomon Islands. Participate in a Live radio show production using vintage radio equipment and featuring performances by Capital City Theatre musicians and singers of your favorite Christmas songs and hits from the 1940s. Enjoy a holiday assortment of Christmas Cookies, Pies, Cakes, Hot Chocolate, Coffee and punch. There will also be a raffle with prizes including custom jewelry, gift cards, holiday baked goods, and much more. All proceeds benefit Capital City Theatre.
