De'Ricci Wine Dinner
The Ricci family came to power in 1150, and Palazzo Ricci remains one of the most beautiful palaces of Montepulciano.
The grapes in these storied vineyards originate from 3 growing areas amongst the hills of Montepulciano. Their average age is 12 years, and the predominant grapes cultivated are: (Red) Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and (White) Malvasia, Grechetto, and Trebbiano.
We're excited to welcome the winemaker himself, Enrico Trabalzini, and his son Nicolo to taste through their wines. It's always such a treat to discuss the wine making process with the person who's got the dirt of the vineyard under his fingernails! Chef Eric prepared a rustic menu to complement an evening in the Italian countryside. We look forward to toasting with you!
