1st Annual Soft Cage Gala
Soft Cage Films is holding their First Annual Gala**

Get to know us! Soft Cage has many exciting upcoming projects, and we'd like to share our work with you. Learn about our new Intro to Filmmaking - Children's Film Class and our film productions, past and present.

The evening will include a raffle, live music by Don Crescendo, and an interactive experimental film shoot directed by Soft Cage's JC Farris!


There will be video projections of Soft Cage's past work and previews of upcoming work, including:

"My Mother is an Artist" - a feature documentary by Julia Mondschean & Maya Jamaica Horton
"Blacksite: The Musical!" - an original musical film directed by David A Holcombe
"Resistimos" - a feature documentary by Diana QuiƱones Rivera
Spence Warren's upcoming flagship adventure film: "An Adventure of Robin Hood"
AND
Resident Photographer Adam Blaszkiewicz's photographs of past events, production, and posters

Soft Cage Films mission is to engage the public through the production and promotion of socially relevant films that use experimental techniques to challenge traditional notions of society and to explore psychological truths.

Soft Cage produces narrative and documentary films that engage with critical social justice issues such as mass incarceration, racism, activism, trauma, violence, and labor. We also engage aspiring youth filmmakers through our children's filmmaking classes.

*Soft Cage Films is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible
