Boise High School Choirs' Madrigal Dinner
Here Ye, Here Ye: The Ye Old Boise High Madrigal Dinner will be held Friday December 6 and Saturday December 7 2019.
Come and enjoy an evening of light hearted frivolity and sublime beauty. Travel back in time and join the choir students at Boise High School as we entertain you in the style of the renaissance. It is a feast at Iron Fist Manor and the King and Queen have invited you to join. Enjoy the four course meal, music, theatre and joy of the celebration. This is the 47th annual Feast and is sure to set your holiday season off as it has so many others for the past 46 years.
The Menu For This Year:
Appetizer
*Fruit and Cheese Board variety of domestic and international cheeses accompanied by fresh fruits and gourmet crackers
*Wassail- spiced cider
Salad Course
*Fresh Bread accompanied by whipped roasted garlic-herb butter
*Apple and Cranberry Salad organic baby greens, fresh apples, dried cranberries, and spiced almonds, with basil-balsamic vinaigrette gluten-free, vegetarian
Main Course
*Roman Style Chicken seasoned and browned chicken breast simmered in a sauce of tomato, peppers, garlic, fresh thyme, oregano, and white wine to fork tender, topped with fresh parsley and capers gluten-free
*Garlic Mashers Idaho potatoes smashed with fresh cream butter, Parmesan and roasted garlic gluten-free, vegetarian
*Italian Green Beans fresh green beans sautéed in olive oil with crushed red pepper and shallots vegan, gluten-free
Dessert
*Salted Caramel Pumpkin Sticky Bread Pudding scratch made pumpkin bread topped with homemade caramel sauce and a light sprinkle of fleur de sel
