Magic Christmas in Lights

Bellingrath Gardens and Home is celebrating the 24th season of Magic Christmas in Lights in 2019. Guests will stroll through a dazzling display, which features more than 1,100 set pieces, 3 million lights and 15 scenes throughout the 65-acre Garden estate. In addition, the Bellingrath Home is decorated in its holiday finery and the Gardens are enhanced with hundreds of beautiful poinsettias.

The holiday festivities include choral performances on the South Terrace of the Home. In addition, guests may purchase hot chocolate on Live Oak Plaza to warm the heart and soul.

Magic Christmas in Lights is a family-friendly event for all ages to get everyone into the holiday spirit. After touring the lights, guests may have photos taken with Santa and find that perfect holiday present in the popular Bellingrath Gift Shop.

The show is a Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Festival & Event winner for December 2018, and was also selected to USA Today's 2014 list of "10 Best Public Light Displays in America" and the American Bus Association's Top 20 Events of 2016.

Magic Christmas in Lights opens on November 29, 2019, and runs through December 31, 2019 (closed Christmas and New Year's Days). Magic Christmas in Lights is open daily from 5 to 9 p.m.; tours of the Bellingrath Home take place every hour and half hour until 8:30 p.m.
