THE BIGGEST LITTLE THEATRE & NEW WORKS FESTIVAL A Week of Locally Sourced New Theatricals and Writings for the Stage
Performances Dates: November 6 - 10, 2019
The eighth annual BIGGEST little Theatre New Works Festival at Brüka Theatre is a showcase for original theatre pieces featuring traditional and nontraditional performances and stage readings created by local and regional performing artists. Some of these pieces have gone on to perform in National Fringe Festivals. This small festival features nine staged readings and two performances over five days in our downtown Sub-Brüka space. Readings range from monologues to full-length productions. Groups receive a portion of the ticket sales.

SYNOPSIS: Every character is named for what they represent. Every woman, every boyfriend, every inner voice that never grows up. This story is the first of a trilogy spot lighting the eternal fight of the ego. What price does a woman have to pay to be happy? A 50 something woman haunted by her childhood searches for her father through one failed relationship after another. Disguised as a business trip, the woman prepares for a date with an escort shes hired for the evening.
