THE BIGGEST LITTLE THEATRE & NEW WORKS FESTIVAL A Week of Locally Sourced New Theatricals and Writings for the Stage

The eighth annual BIGGEST little Theatre New Works Festival at Brüka Theatre is a showcase for original theatre pieces featuring traditional and nontraditional performances and stage readings created by local and regional performing artists. Some of these pieces have gone on to perform in National Fringe Festivals. This small festival features nine staged readings and two performances over five days in our downtown Sub-Brüka space. Readings range from monologues to full-length productions. Groups receive a portion of the ticket sales.

SYNOPSIS: This one-act, two person play portrays an older couple reminiscing about their life together. It touches on the topics of raising a family, growing old and the trials of nding their place in a modern world. The dialogue is quick and peppered with repartee. There are moments of humor as well as dialogue that conveys impassioned emotions. The primary theme woven within this pieceIts the little things that hold a life together.
