Jose Gonzales Trio-SNOHOMISH plays Vince Guaraldi's "A Charlie Brown Christmas"
This fine jazz trio based in Seattle is pleased to present its holiday concert, Vince Guaraldi's A Charlie Brown Christmas. Pianist and singer Jose Gonzales guides you through the story of the making of the television special and how Guaraldi's music gave exactly the right feeling for the special, even though producers wanted to cut it!
The trio includes bassist extraordinaire Michael Marcus, plucking and bowing his way through the music; and the little drummer boy Matt Jorgensen, whose rhythmic intensity and relaxed feel is perfect for the sound.
Marvelous and heartwarming, this show is a delightful holiday tradition at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater in Snohomish.
