The Afternoon Carriage House Salon Continues!: A Storytelling Extravaganza
The Pardee Museum's Salon Series Continues: A Storytelling Extravaganza
On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 from 3 PM TO 5 PM we will offer a celebration of storytelling! A storyteller's mission is to promote the craft of storytelling and to honor the age old tradition of sharing human experiences. Three storytellers tell an unscripted 15 - 20 minute story. This dynamic afternoon will feature an all-star cast of the best storytellers from NPR, The Moth and Snap Judgment. The stories will cover a wide range of true, personal tales and will feature a diverse team of seasoned, compelling storytellers.
Scott Sanders will be producing this storytelling event. Scott is an ex actor, ex-New Yorker who moved to the left coast 20 years ago and is still wrestling with cross cultural challenges. Scott's told stories in multiple Moth Grand slams, Moth Main stage events, & NPR's Snap Judgment. He is the producer of the multimedia storytelling show called BASH - Bay Area Storytelling Hijacked at Berkeley's Shotgun Players Theater.
After the stories we will celebrate the event with a champagne toast and delicious refreshments. Space is limited, so reserve your seat as soon as possible.
Ticket price is $25 with all proceeds going to the museum. Call Richelle Lieberman for more information 510.381.1973 Pardee Home Museum, 672-11th Street, Oakland (please enter at the 12th Street Carriage House entrance)
