About Love Jones:
Darius Lovehall is a young black poet in Chicago who starts dating Nina Moseley, a beautiful and talented photographer. While trying to figure out if they've got a "love thing" or are just "kicking it," they hang out with their friend, talking about love and sex. Then Nina tests the strength of Darius' feelings and sets a chain of romantic complications into motion.

This showing is part of "Party at the Parkway". Party at the Parkway is a patron planned event where we celebrate one of our patrons (or a group of patrons), replete with a cake and singing, and we open it up to the public. So even if you don't know anything about the group, consider coming out to celebrate!

of the event, Nikki Baker. Here's what she has to say about the event:
"We are a Co-Ed love group that discusses love and relationships and thought it would be awesome to have a showing of Love Jones. We would make it a facebook event because others outside of our group have expressed interest in coming as well."
