Mark de Clive-Lowe describes his club night CHURCH as equal parts jazz club, dance party and live remix experiment. The polymath pianist, DJ, live remixer, composer and producer has been hosting his party in Los Angeles, New York and further afield for nine years pushing the limits of what music lovers have come to expect from both jazz and DJ culture. Touted by Okayplayer as an underground phenom, de Clive-Lowe seamlessly blurs the lines between genres as he creates and remixes live on stage with mind-boggling deftness. If Duke Ellington had been a DJ, this might be what he would have done, muses the LA Weekly and theyre not far wrong. De Clive-Lowe has remixed the legendary Blue Note Records catalog, collaborated with the likes of Kamasi Washington, DJ Spinna and hip hop-funk progenitor Harvey Mason.

Now, de Clive-Lowe celebrates the 9 year anniversary of CHURCH with a three-show California run in San Jose, Oakland and Los Angeles - performing double bills with acclaimed Italian drummer/producer/electronic jazz artist Tommaso Cappellato
supporting his new album BUTTERFLYING + NEW Bonus Tracks (out Oct 15th) plus support from DJs and an impressive cast of collaborators joining him on stage for the LA show, wrapping up the three-night run.
