JOHN FINLEY'S lifelong career started in 1964 leading The Tempests, The Checkmates (jon & Lee & The Checkmates, Rhinoceros, Blackstone, and SoulBop. Recording, songwriting ( a hit with 3 Dog Night), producing, and singing gospel, rock, funk, R&B, and jazz.
