Yellow Sun Wreckers

The Yellow Sun Wreckers (www.yellowsunwreckers.com) is a Maine-based, 21st century honky-tonk band which dishes up a rich gumbo of American roots music. The bands repertoire is made up of its versions of classic rhythm and blues, rock, country, and folk tunes spiced with ragtime and soul. The group draws inspiration (and some of its repertoire and name, too) from the yellow Sun records turned out by Memphis famed Sun Studio.

The Wreckers good-time music features Renee St. Jeans powerful and expressive vocals and driving rhythm guitar complimented by the tasteful and smoking-hot Telecaster licks of Frank Fotusky, a nationally-known blues guitar picker. Drummer, Kim Chasse, and electric bassist, Todd Burrowes, team up to lay down a groove that helps put smiles on peoples faces and their feet on the dance floor. So bring your dancing shoes and get your 2020 off on the good foot!
