Amy Rigby House Concert: Performance & Reading
Roots Hoot House Concerts kicks off its Winter of 2020 string of shows with on Friday, January 3rd with the return of one of our all-time favorites, Amy Rigby. Amy's long-awaited memoir GIRL TO CITY was published in October and she will be reading selections from the book and performing songs from her lengthy catalogue. GIRL TO CITY follows one young woman's progression from Elton John fan in the Pittsburgh suburbs to Manhattan art student; from punk show habitué to fledgling musician to cult singer-songwriter who caused a sensation with 1996 debut solo album Diary Of A Mod Housewife. Amy will have copies of the book for sale and be signing them, too.
