Polarized Guru at First Parish Church
Latin, jazz and fusion music from the band Polarized Guru on Saturday, Nov. 2 at First Parish Church in Stow, MA.
Polarized Guru plays music inspired by Chick Corea, Spyro Gyra, The Yellow Jackets and Steps Ahead. They play original material as well as covers.
"What a pleasure it is to hear a band like Polarized Guru, says Tom Nutile, Host of the Tuesday edition of Standard Time on WICN. This five-piece fusion group is polished, professional and plays with passion and joy (no cold fusion here). This is a band for serious listening and enjoyment.
The band includes Paul Rodriguez, leader, guitar and vocals, John MacNeill on saxes and Aerophone, Michael Merrill on bass, Todd Rhodes, drums and Bob Ponte, keyboards.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the concert. All proceeds from the concert will benefit First Parish Church.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and desserts and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
