Virginia Jones is a unique comic voice, by turns ingenious and absurd. She feels like she could be a genius if she could just remember to write stuff down. You may have seen her on Portlandia, CNNs History of Comedy, and if you stay up late enough, in an Australian tap dance infomercial. She paid her dues in Portland, OR, working Helium and Harveys with talents like David Koechner, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Arj Barker before moving to Los Angeles and appearing on hot shows like Hot Tub, Put Your Hands Together, Competitive Erotic Fan Fiction, and Women Crush Wednesday. She is currently on the development track for the Improv family of comedy clubs. She made semi-finals in the Seattle International and San Francisco International Comedy Competitions. She is proud to appear on Jackie Kashian and Laurie Kilmartins list of favorite comedians, a.k.a. the Comic of the Week from the Jackie and Laurie show. So good! has been yelled about her by both Kristen Schaal and Maria Bamford, and Pete Holmes of HBOs Crashing Really enjoyed her. Virginia has toured nationally, headlining clubs in Kansas City and Indianapolis, and featuring at every casino and Radisson lounge between Portland and Montana. Along with all these amazing accomplishments, she recently saved Maria Bamfords dog, Jackie Onassis, from choking on a chicken bone. Virginia Jones believes comedy is an artform, just like her kind of liberal, uppity shits. She can be heard on Itunes, SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify, and Audible. She has been proud to appear on such podcasts at the LEGENDARY Jordan, Jesse, Go!, Nobody Listens To Paula Poundstone, and Jackie Kashians long-running masterclass in Dorkdom, the Dork Forest.
