Please join us for an intimate evening of outstanding modern dance performance by two renowned award-winning women choreographers from Korea. They will perform two distinctive works that push through cultural and language barriers, allowing the audience to witness the outward expression of female interiority.

The evening will include a guest feature of "POTS & spoons" by local dancer, Ivana Lin, and an enlightening artist panel of Q&A will follow. Running time: 70 minutes (performance only) Ages: 12+ "yeoja : in her self" is presented by Min Moon in cooperation with Korea Dance Abroad. This project is supported, in part, by a grant from 4Culture and Arts Council Korea.
NOTE: There will be another performance on Sunday, 11/3 at Asia Pacific Cultural Center (4851 S Tacoma Way, Tacoma, WA 98409) at 6:30. The event will be free but will not include the performance by Ivana Lin or the artist panel.
About the Presenter: Min Moon is an independent cultural producer in Seattle who specializes in identifying and presenting works that furthers cultural diversity and creative expression in the Pacific Northwest. As a person of Korean Heritage, she's drawn to collaborating with Korean artists that bring motherland closer to home.
About the Guest Curator: Sin Ae Park is an international producer and founder of Korea Dance Abroad (KDA), a non-profit that aims to support Korean dance artists while introducing them to international audiences. As the guest curator at 92Y Harkness Dance Center NYC and an executive committee member for Seoul International Choreography Festival, Sin Ae Park has been producing and curating a range of unique and outstanding performances worldwide since 2014.
