Jewish Lyricists of Tin Pan Alley, the Creators of the American Songbook: Dream a Little Dream of Me
Sing and appreciate some of the great songs of the Golden Age of Tin Pan Alley, the first half of the last century. This is the 21st annual in the Poets of Tin Pan alley series produced by the Fine Arts Committee of Temple Sinai in Oakland.
The lyrics will be projected onto a screen so we can all join in if we want. Learn a bit about the history of the period, the characters, the scandals, the gossip.
