Gallway Bay Music is proud to announce the November 8, 2019 release of the new Peter Gallway & The Real Band album, Reach For It. The album was written and recorded at Gallways Rockland, Maine studio during 2019. When asked to describe the process, Gallway had this to say: I wrote the songs on this album specifically for the bandtimeless, full but spare, featuring all of our collective talents, style, and experience.
Peter Gallway is one of the most popular and respected musical figures on the Maine music scene. Called a master of free verse in the Boston Globe, he has released more than twenty-five albums on the Warner/Reprise and various independent labels. Along with The Real BandAndre Re (Jackson Brown, Garland Jeffries) on vocals and percussion and Mark Wainer (Berklee College of Music) on lead guitarthey have crisscrossed the region as one of the most popular and hardest-working live bands in New England.
The Portland Press Herald has written, It is no figure of speech to say that Peter Gallway is the rock and roll laureate of Maine. Born and raised in Greenwich Village, Gallway says, Maine has remained in my blood as a place of musical creativity and most of all, a feeling of home.

Larry John McNally is an American singer/songwriter/ guitarist born in Bangor, Maine. His first album was released on Columbia Records in 1981. A dozen more have followed. He is best known for his songs having been recorded by some of the worlds greatest singers: Aaron Neville, The Eagles, Bonnie Raitt, Mavis Staples, Chaka Kahn, Joe Cocker and more. His fluid guitar style has been called folk-Hendrix and his singing has won high praise on recent tours of South America, the UK and Europe: ...a charismatic frontman, with a darkly melancholic whiskey-blues voice... In a recent interview Bonnie Raitt said: Larry John McNally is one of my favorite writers ever.
