9th Annual Family Barn Dance

Come one, come all! It's the ninth annual old-fashioned Family Barn Dance with contra dancing and live fiddle music at the Congers Lake Memorial Park Auditorium located at 6 Gilchrest Road in Congers, NY on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 7 to 9pm.

This fun family event always draws a crowd and guarantees to be a lively, foot-stompin' time for all, and children of all ages are welcome. Renowned dance caller, Eric Hollman, will lead the way as guests keep step to live, traditional fiddle tunes from Ireland, New England, Appalachia and beyond. This year's musical lineup includes Nyack's own Ian Moore on fiddle and Matt Greenhill on guitar.

The event is open to the public. All ages welcome and no previous dance experience required. Admission is $10 per person. There will be refreshments for sale including freshly-popped popcorn, fresh apple cider, apples and home-made donuts from The Orchards at Concklin Farms. All proceeds to benefit the Ruth Schaeffer Scholarship Fund at Blue Rock School in West Nyack, NY. Generously sponsored by Weld Realty.
