Peter Asher & Albert Lee
Peter Asher's legendary music career began in 1964 as one-half of the singing duo Peter & Gordon, who amassed nine Top 20 records during their career. Their debut single, A World Without Lovea song given to them by Paul McCartneywent to number one in over thirty countries, including the U.S. and U.K. In 1968, Asher became head of A&R for the Beatles newly formed record company, Apple Records, where he found, signed, and produced James Taylor and worked closely with the Beatles on their individual projects.
Albert Lee is one of the most respected and renowned guitarists in music history, having worked with the Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, and the Crickets over his long and illustrious career. The British-born country-rock artist started his career during the emerging rock n roll scene of sixties London, when he swapped bands with the likes of Jimmy Page and Chris Farlowe.
