Older than Ireland - Film Night at TCCC
This documentary was made in Ireland in 2015 by Alex Fegan who interviewed several people who had reached or surpassed 100 years of life. These men and women are, indeed, older than Ireland, for when, in 1923, the Irish won the War of Independence from England, a new nation was born, and renamed Ireland. The years since have brought great social and economic change.
In the film, the participants describe their personal experiences through these extraordinary tumultuous years and share how living through such dramatic changes affected their view of themselves, their nation, and the human condition.
