Learn to make lampwork glass art beads from Lampwork Artist Kellene Richetts-Nguyen. Using rods of Italian glass, a torch and gravity the participant will learn the beginning skill and practice to make a few simple art beads. The 2.5 hour class will also include a lecture on bead making equipment/tools and safety, bead making supply sources and hand outs.
This class is limited to 1-4 students.
Students are required to sign a release of liability form and must be at least 14 years of age (with consent of legal guardian).
Students will need to wear short sleeved cotton shirt/pants, comfortable closed toed shoes and dark sun glasses.
