We don't get the enjoy a dark night sky full of stars often. Come see the stars, hear the tales, and support storytelling and science!
The Southern Order of Storytellers and Fernbank Science Center are collaborating on this fund-raising event, celebrating the fall equinox with science and stories. The planetarium provides the night sky, with Fernbank astronomer April Whitt as your tour guide to the fall constellations. Tellers Mary Apps, Tersi Bendiburg, Sarah Beth Nelson and Nancy Riggs share star tales.
Just what are the reasons for the seasons? Why is it fall for us and spring for Australia at the same time? When can you spot Orion? And who is that mysterious princess?
