Spotlight Talk: Virgin and Child
Catherine Hess, chief curator of European art, will discuss The Huntingtons small but important group of Renaissance paintings, including Rogier van der Weydens "Virgin and Child" and Cosimo Rossellis "Mother and Child in Glory." Both works were acquired by Arabella Huntington, who was among the very first American collectors to show an interest in Renaissance painting.
The talk takes place in the Huntington Art Gallery. Check-in with Education staff near the Admission windows at 9 a.m.
