Tea Workshop
Black tea from China was the first tea exported to Europe, and its popularity had far-reaching effects on culture, politics, and global trade. Join Linda Louie from Bana Tea Company and Angie Lee from 1001 Plateaus for a focused tasting of several rare varieties and a discussion of black teas history, cultivation, and processing.
Class is held in Stewart R. Smith Boardroom of the Education and Visitor's Center. Visit any admission window for directions to education staff for check-in at 8:45 a.m.
