Miss Smith has been waiting for the great Lisa Benson to do her own show and at long last, it's happening!

On November 8 and 9 at Miss Smith's studio in Salem, one of the Willamette Valley's best kept secrets will make her solo debut. "Poor Unfortunate Souls" is a naughty, hilarious, poignant, meaningful and surprisingly heartfelt look at what life is like when you're different. Joined by Hollywood-based actor Shane Kroll (SAG/AFTRA), this cabaret-style one act offers an hour of an eclectic mix of musical theatre, jazz and popular songs including works by Natalie Merchant, Nina Simone, Christine Lavin, Paul James Frantz and Jack Curtis Dubowsky.
