Cooperatives: A Happy Hour Panel Discussion
Join us for a locally sourced happy hour, and take a deep dive into how cooperatives are working in our region as model for business development, local investment, and job creation.
We'll hear from local co-op experts from NW Cooperative Development Center, Central Co-op, and Equal Exchange, while enjoying Finnriver Cider, Treveri sparkling wine, and snacks from Central Co-op.
For the best value, buy a series pass to all Community Capital: Seattle events, which run through the end of April, 2014: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/480225
Other series sessions will explore local investment clubs, creative community loan models; crowdfunding, CSAs, and pre-sales; community banks, credit unions, and CDFIs; and direct public stock offerings as ways to move money into our local economy.
More info about the entire series available at www.seattlenetwork.org/commcap.
Thanks to our series sponsors Bainbridge Graduate Institute, BECU, Central Co-op, and many generous in-kind and community sponsors.
