ABOUT LOWLAND HUM
Lowland Hum is a husband and wife duo making music that is decidedly quiet in the midst of our cultures present noisiness. The duos self-imposed musical restraint provides space for their rich harmonies and skillful arrangements to fill spaces both large and small, and their sound is unmistakably their own. At shows, Lowland Hum employs the use of handmade lyric books, off-the-cuff songs and conversation with their audiences to create a refreshingly communal musical experience.
Lowland Hum has taken their hush folk sound across the United States & Europe, sharing stages with the likes of Josh Ritter, Penny & Sparrow, & The Oh Hellos along the way. Their music has garnered praise from outlets like NPR, Billboard, & No Depression, and has found a home on some of the top playlists by Spotify, Apple, & Amazon Music.
