GLAD CAFE 1ST BIRTHDAY WEEKEND: FOUND + CARBS + IONA MARSHALL!
WE ARE ONE and we are delighted to have this incredible line up to kick off our birthday weekend!!!
FOUND are an Edinburgh-based band / arts collective who's members include Ziggy Campbell, Tommy Perman, Simon Kirby and Kev Sim. Signed to Glasgow's Chemikal Underground, they released their most recent LP factorycraft in 2011.
They are perhaps best known for creating an emotional robot band called Cybraphon, that captured the attention of the world's press. Since its unveiling at the Edinburgh International Festival at the start of August 2009, Cybraphon has been featured on national newspapers across the world. In November 2009 Cybraphon won a Scottish BAFTA in the Best Interactive category.
Last year saw them collaborate with Aiden Moffat on the incredible interactive sound installation #UNRAVEL
"Sampled sounds wrestle it out with jagged bursts of electronica across songs that lurch around like shouty drunks on a week-long bender." Q Magazine
