Three Ring Bender: A Silver Yom Kippur
On October 9 2019 Brooklyn-based musicians and artists will celebrate David Berman with performances and readings of his songs, poetry, and other works for the October edition of the Three Ring Bender at Threes Brewing in Gowanus Brooklyn.
Berman, or DCB as he signed most of his missives, took his own life in August of this year just as he was preparing to tour in support of his new Purple Mountains music project. He is the author of a collection of poems called Actual Air and a maker of songs and music under the names Silver Jews and Purple Mountains.
The Three Ring Bender is a semi-monthly music series run by the creative rhythm section of Ray Rizzo and Annie Nero.
Suggested cover for some seats and standing room will be pay-what-you-can at the door, suggested $10 cover. But online we are selling 25 reserved seats in the Tiny Montgomery music space. They are $20 and closest to the musicians. All income goes to the musicians and artists.
