Andy Aledort and Alan Paul are the co-authors of the New York times bestseller Texas Flood: The Inside Story of Stevie Ray Vaughan. The book shines a bigger, brighter light on Stevie, a person and a musician of the highest order.
Aledort and Paul will take the stage of The Warehouse L.I. to discuss their book and Stevie Ray, sign some books, then return for a killer set of Stevie's music.
A Long Island legend, Aledort toured with the Dickey Betts Band for 12 years, and has been a regular participant in the Jimi Hendrix Tribute Tours, appearing with Paul Rodgers, Buddy Guy, Hubert Sumlin, Mick Taylor, Mitch Mitchell, Billy Cox, Robert Randolph and others. Hes also performed and recorded many times with Double Trouble, Stevie Ray Vaughans rhythm section of Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton.
Paul and Aledort are bandmates in Friends Of The Brothers, the best celebration of the Allman Brothers there is.
