Independent Opera Company presents Don Giovanni by W.A.Mozart
Independent Opera Company continues it's seventh season,"The season of deceit and infidelity", with Don Giovanni by W. A. Mozart. The main character of the story is a famous womanizer and libertine Don Giovanni, and the plot line goes back to 14th century Spain. Named "Dramma Giocoso", drama with jokes, Don Giovanni is a complex work that shows different human characters in some extreme situations (jilted lover, a bride almost seduced by another man on her wedding day, a woman tormented by guilt because her father was killed defending her honor). As always in Mozart's opera's, the plot is set to glorious and very effective music! Four performances only, fully staged with piano accompaniment.
