It's simple. Choose your ticket type; Premium, General or Student/Senior then choose one concert from our December 2013, March and June 2014 series.
The 2013-14 season is our '33-1/3rd' - "long playing" in record parlance. You remember records - those black disks that spin around and make music? This season, we'll continue our long tradition of making beautiful, exciting and unusual music to share with you!
Our audiences raved about our holiday concert last year and so December will be just as varied and delightful, featuring selections from Arvo Part and Durufle, as well as works by local composers.
The March concert is themed on the Kirke Mechem piece, Five Centuries of Spring, and yes, there will be pieces from each century! It will also include the new and highly-anticipated composition Ven a La Habana by Cuban composer Roberto Valera that you helped PME commission. We were privileged to work with Valera in Cuba, so we are excited to bring this piece to fruition!
In June will be the Jazz & Pop concert, as we continue to expand the boundaries of what comprises 'jazz' and 'pop'. We will as usual keep you on the edge of your seat and occasionally up on your feet!
