About the Performers
Maddox Pennington MK Pennington is a nonbinary queer writer and comedian, and the author of A Girl Walks Into a Book: What the Brontes Taught Me About Life, Love, and Women's Work. They have performed all over the DMV including the Charm City Comedy Festival, DCAC, DC Drafthouse, DC Comedy Loft, Busboys and Poets, and many of DC's finest dive bars.
Kam East Rising DMV comedian Kam Eastcoast began gaining attention from his Instagram skits in 2016. With a natural funny bone and ability to charm an audience while speaking his mind, Kam knew that he had to pursue stand up. In 2017 he attended his first open mic in D.C. and ever since he has been performing in multiple showcases in the DMV. He is in the process of releasing a comedy album before the end of 2019, and has two singles from the project on all streaming platforms.
Les Henderson Come see Les cower on how expensive the world is!
Heather Marie Vitale Call USA Networks 'cause these characters are welcome.
Kevin McLain Inspired by topical late night hosts and scathing insult comics, Kevin occupies a unique space in the DC comedy scene. A former-Republican-turned-practically-Communist potty-mouth, he has won crowds over with his hilarious allusions and references to gender, race, sexuality, class, and politics. He has described his style of comedy as "Imagine Trevor Noah...but as a big gay slut."
Rachel Antomattei Rachel is a rising talent who performers storytelling and observational humor.
Camille Roberts Camille Roberts is an emerging D.C. based comedian recently featured on the Underground Comedy Fest and the Charm City Comedy Festival. She has performed all over the country and internationally, and opened for Whitney Cummings at Flappers Comedy Club this past year. Her unique observational, silly, and story-telling voice play into her hot take on mental health, gender, sexuality, and debilitating Catholic Guilt.
Sharon & Karen Sharon & Karen will climb the walls if you let them.
Interview Hour on 101.3 WKZB Interview Hour is a completely improvised talk show on 101.3 WKZB - a fictional radio station in the real Falls Church, VA.
