Impossible But True @ Franklin 820
"Impossible But True" is an immersive musical that follows a small town in the Catskills through the American Revolution. It is loosely based on Washington Irving's "Rip Van Winkle."
Patrons sit at tables right in the center of the action, which takes place around the piano and moves through the room. Audience members may be asked to participate in small ways in the show--or to dance or sing along.
The show takes place in two acts with an intermission. Act I is set in 1775 (before the Revolution); Act II is set in 1795, 20 years later. This is a show about whether "things are possible!"
This ticket guarantees the holder a reserved seat in the center of the action! (We cannot charge for general admission, as Franklin 820 is a public bar.) We greatly appreciate your contribution and it helps make this show possible! Guests who enter and join the show without tickets will be invited to contribute as well.)
