Matt 'n' Mojo is a new project featuring Jonny Mojo of the great band "Achilles Wheel" and Matt Hartle of The China Cats and Grateful Sunday's. Rounding out this stellar lineup is Bay area Dead scene musicians Murph Murphy on Bass and Jeremy Hoenig on Drums. The band plays music from many different artists including The Allman Brothers, Neil Young, Paul Simon, Steve Kimmock, Pink Floyd, and of course Jerry Garcia to name a few, as well as original compositions. But the most exciting thing about the band is their treatment of the songs: soaring improvisations of eclectic, high energy, communication between the 4 members and the audience. On any given night, the band, as well as the audience, is in for a million ecstatic surprises.
