ABOUT THE PORTSIDE IN OLD TOWN FALL FESTIVAL
Building off the launch of the Portside in Old Town Fall Festival in 2018 and the annual Alexandria Seaport Day, the 2019 event is a new collaboration between Visit Alexandria and the Alexandria Seaport Foundation.
Attendees will be treated to a day of maritime-themed activities, boat displays by Alexandria Seaport Foundation, and music thats fun for all. Take part in the Anything That Floats Race, or hands-on activities with the Office of Historic Alexandria that highlight our growing understanding of the 18th century ships uncovered along the waterfront.
Relax along the Potomac River with lawn games, beer by Alexandrias award-winning Port City Brewing Company and local food vendors that will delight.
The event is free and open to the public.
