The CJammers at Marconi's Theatre at the VFW
Another concert in the Friday Night Live Music concert series at the new Marconi's Theatre located in the VFW building at 311 Pleasant St. Ashland, MA on October 11th, 2019. Doors open at 7:30 PM. $15 adm. All ages welcome.
The C-Jammers, with special guest Brenda Harvey, are a high-powered, horn-driven band specializing in playing blues, swing and early rock n roll the way they were originally played - with joy, vitality, and spirit. The band has been entertaining listeners and dancers to great acclaim since the early 80s and has recently been reconstituted with the return of several original members and the addition of one of MetroWest Bostons best guitarist/singers, Pete Henderson. The C-Jammers are a band dedicated to bringing the best of American roots and rhythm to its audience.
We're a Handicap accessible venue with plenty of free parking. And conveniently located directly across the street from the Ashland T commuter rail station. In addition, it is less than five miles from the MassPike, Rte9 exit in Framingham. (Exit 12)
Marconi's Theatre has a large comfortable hall with great sightlines and multiple seating options such as tables for groups, cocktail size table seating, and some traditional row seats at the stage as well. There is also lots of open area in front of the raised stage for dancing and intimate viewing. The floor plan allows for a casual, friendly, and inclusive music entertainment atmosphere. There are HDTV concert projections screens at both the front and rear of the hall. Refreshments. Pizza. In addition, the full bar is open until 12:30 AM.
