Needle Felting Beasties

Creating Beasties is a fun needle felting technique to stretch the imagination. Well make creatures from a mixture of reference photos and the imagination. The class will cover character design principles to push your Beastie in the desired direction. But be aware these sculptures emerge in unexpected ways, which adds to the fun.

Needle felting experience is helpful but not necessary. Beginning felters will enjoy this class. Although guided instruction is a focus, this class is for those wanting to play and experiment. Each sculpture will be unique.

Student Supplies: If you have them, bring felting surface, needles, and shaping tools.

Class Supplies: All wool, wire, weights and eyes are included in the price of the class. For those who dont have felting tools, a kit is provided on loan and available for a $10 purchase from the instructor, if you choose to keep it.

This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+
