Have you ever been curious about the Modern Essene Way?
The Modern Essene Way is about seeing the world clearly, in wonder, as it is created, and adding your own unique divine light to it. It is a lifestyle movement to restore health, community, the planet from a deadening culture to a life-affirming culture! Foundations cover many areas of life from going within, to community, to eating, to actions that express our oneness with the living planet.
Come spend an afternoon doing modern Essene meditations, yoga-like body and breath practices, and hearing and discussing Modern Essene lifestyle foundations!
The name "Essene" comes from the root Esei, meaning "doer." To be truly a doer, we must be full in direct experience and understanding. What is not true begins dissolving and a transformation occurs into the life of "Creating Peace by Being Peace."

At this event, you will participate in:
* Several sessions of meditation
* Breath and body practices
* Holistic live-food, plant-based nutrition and potluck lunch
* A healing herb garden and nature walk
* Periods in small groups and pairs to contemplate and integrate the Modern Essene Way with each other.
We will explore Essene lifestyle practices and even see how they are a part of the liberation traditions within mystical Jewish, early Christian, and Sufi paths. You will see the role of the long Essene lineage as being one meant to inspire us today to liberate ourselves and transform the world in a conscious frequency of light, in a way that feels home. Taught by by Micha'el A. BedarShah, student of Rabbi Gabriel Cousens, MD.
The Modern Essene Way gifts us with lifestyle keys, tools, and foundations that uplift our spirit and bring out divine consciousness in life. There is a "How" to grounding sacred living in family, economics, and every aspect of our lives, just as foundational to awakening as are techniques for quieting the mind in meditation. Thus the Modern Essene Way is inclusive of meditation AND suggestions in relationships, child-raising, eating, working, and more.
The potluck dish that you bring should be plant-sourced only, organic, and living foods. Feel free to request resources on preparing live food.
First we'll meet in a park in Novato for a Live Food Potluck Picnic, then proceed to the special house for the program. The park's details and location will given upon registration. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, and all donations are appreciated.
