Repast Baroque Ensemble: Struggle & Jubilation, Manhattan Performance
Repast begins with sacred and secular Baroque works by Schütz, Buxtehude, and Bernhard. The second half follows with African-American spirituals based on the same Psalm materials as the earlier works. The program will also feature instrumental works by Buxtehude and Krieger.
