¡Con Fuego! Spanish Music & Dance
¡Con Fuego! (With Fire!) is a passionate cross-fertilization of flamenco dance and Spanish classical music. Founded in 2006 by award winning American guitar virtuoso Aaron Larget-Caplan, ¡Con Fuego! explores Spanish classical music and original flamenco dance and song in an exhilarating journey of Iberian music and the folkloric traditions!
Joined by international flamenco dancer/singer/choreographer La Conja, the duo creates an exhilarating flamenco-classical fusion program for a night of hypnotic dance, virtuosic guitar, longing melodies, & silky castanets.
For their Portland Debut they will be joined by cellist Jerry Bobbe.

La Conja, is one of Flamenco Worlds most versatile artists. She has developed a substantial international reputation as a dancer, singer, and choreographer. She has performed at the prestigious Guggenheim Work and Process Series, in collaboration with New York's World Music Institute. She has toured nationally and internationally with such artists as Jose Molina and Jose Greco featured as solo dancer, and has also appeared at Lincoln Center with Sarita Montiel.
