BIO Chef/ Farmer Stacey Givens of The Side Yard is a combination of an urban farmer and chef. Based in Northeast Portland's Cully Neighborhood, herself along with dedicated volunteers grow diverse vegetables on two urban lots. She sells her harvests to local restaurants, including Cocotte, Grain & Gristle, and Ned Ludd, in what she calls "chef-to-chef" produce service. The farm also offers kids camp, workshops and catering.
Thanks to 119 amazing supporters of The Side Yard for helping fund the 'Nomadic Chef' project on Kickstarter.
